His friends were the lonely, the sick, prostitutes, the rough and tumble, uneducated fishermen, the weary and the down- trodden. His words were powerful. He spoke of kindness, hope, forgiveness, and love. He talked of greatness, satisfaction, peace, and joy. His actions were a display of love, healing and hope for broken people. His life not only surprised people, it transformed their lives. Is this Jesus the same today? You might be surprised! | | |

Why the name "Freshwater" for the church?
We think the name speaks to the renewing purpose and relationship Jesus offers each of us. Jesus offers "fresh water "...the spring of living water that wells up to eternal life." (John 4:14) |
